In December, 2014, I had my second hip replacement. Being a fairly active person, I never expected to be in the need for a hip replacement, much less both hips! In August, 2013, I saw Dr. Gonzalez DellaValle for a consultation. He was kind and reassuring. I decided to have the first one done that December. My recovery was great! Within six weeks, I was back at the gym with no residual effects from my surgery.

By summer, however, the second hip started to act up and once again I saw Dr. Gonzalez Della Valle. He was as kind and caring as my first visit. So once again, one year later, I was back for part two. This time, my recovery was actually better and within a few weeks, I felt great.

I have no pain in either hip. I do spin a few times a week and feel no discomfort. I have resumed my walking and feel terrific.

Hip replacement was a winning situation for me. The staff at HSS are truly wonderful professional people.
