Arthritis of the Foot and Ankle

An arthritic left ankle had bone fragments floating around in the joint which resulted in very severe pain (about a 9 on a scale of 1-10) when a bone chip would pinch a nerve. The ankle fusion resolved the problem beautifully so that I no longer have any pain in that ankle from the arthritis. The five two inch screws in the ankle don't allow me to run anymore, but at least I can walk normally pain free. My wife and I care for our granddaughters while their parents work and this activity is no longer a painful chore. Thank you Dr. David S. Levine!
