I had bilateral hip resurfacing done by Dr. Su in March of 2012. I was having much difficulty walking and being able to do many daily tasks. Now I can walk for miles, I take a spin class 3x per week. The recouperation was not difficult at all. I walked down the hall and back 3x the day after my surgery. I had my surgery on a Tuesday and was home on Friday, I was able to go upstairs to my bed the night I came home. I was back to work in 5 weeks. I am a Bed Coordinator at a local hospital and have to walk all around the hospital several times a day. The staff at HSS are so professional and make the experience as pleasant as can be for anyone needing surgery. I have recommended HSS to friends who may be facing joint replacements.
