Dr. Vincenzo Castellano is a board certified physician specializing in interventional spine and sports medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery. He treats disorders of the back, neck, joints and muscles. In addition, Dr. Castellano performs various minimally invasive procedures including radiofrequency ablation and epidural steroid injections.
Dr. Castellano underwent his undergraduate studies at Columbia University. He then attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Castellano completed his residency at UCLA / GLAVA Medical Centers. Subsequently, he underwent a fellowship in interventional spine and sports medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery.
Dr. Castellano has received numerous awards voted on by his peers and patients. In 2008, he had the honor of being chosen as Medical Director of the Integrative Care Center. Dr. Castellano served as Medical Director of the Integrative Care Center for more than ten years. In 2018, he had the great privilege of being chosen as a senior faculty member of the Center for the Advancement of Value in Musculoskeletal Care. The Center for the Advancement of Value in Musculoskeletal Care is dedicated to developing high value musculoskeletal care solutions by utilizing the unmatched clinical expertise, operational knowledge, data assets and analytical skills found only at Hospital for Special Surgery.
