One year ago, Dr. Chalmers changed my life for the better and I am truly grateful! My original replacement was done in 2016, but after an injury in 2020, I lost stability. I was living in fear of my knee “giving out.” Timing is everything and on Thanksgiving 2024, I ended up in the ER with a severe dislocation. After significant research, I found Dr. Chalmers with the Complex Joint Reconstruction Center at HSS. He gave me the confidence to move forward with a revision and get my life back. Within 3 months, I was walking the beautiful sandy beaches of Long Island without even thinking about my new knee. This month I am off on a European adventure. What a relief to travel without fear of pain or instability. Thank you, Dr. Chalmers.
