In December 2024, I injured my back and initially assumed it was a muscle strain affecting my sciatic nerve. I expected rest and limited activity would resolve the issue, but after five months with no improvement, I underwent an MRI. The results clearly showed that my spine was misaligned, with the L4/L5 vertebrae out of sync.

On June, I underwent back surgery with Dr. Grabel, and it was a resounding success. That same evening, I was able to walk pain-free for the first time in six months—no pain in my back, leg, or anywhere else.

Six weeks post-op, I can honestly say I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Grabel’s skill and care and responsiveness have made a tremendous difference in my life, and I’m deeply grateful.
