I'm forever grateful to Dr. McLawhorn for the outstanding outcome of my total hip replacement in May of 2024. I had been suffering with terrible pain for almost two years. The pain kept me awake at night and day to day life was very challenging. I had always been very active but the hip pain was preventing me from doing the things that I enjoy. Gratefully, I found my way to Dr. McLawhorn on the HSS website. Dr. McLawhorn did a thorough review and explanation of my MRI results. He explained my condition in easy to understand terms. He really took his time and answered all of my questions completely. I scheduled my surgery and I never had a moment of hesitation because I knew that I was in the best of hands with Dr. McLawhorn. The procedure and my recovery went very smoothly. Everyone at HSS is amazing. Every step of the way, it's obvious that each team member is fully committed to their work. Here I am one year later and I feel better than I have in years! I have to have my other hip replaced. I'm not nervous about it because I know that with Dr. McLawhorn, I will have another outstanding outcome. I'm actually looking forward to getting the other hip replaced because after that I'll be able to play tennis again, daily walks, and maybe even jogging again! Thank you Dr. McLawhorn! You've made a huge difference in my life!
