To Dr. Peter Sculco, thank you for making such a positive impact on my life in that I can now move pain-free! I forget that I have had my hip replaced. I had bone-on-bone contact with bone spurs at the time of my surgery. My new hip feels just like my own hip and I cannot tell the difference. It took me 5 years to find the right physician and hospital (HSS of course), but I am glad that I found you and HSS. Why did I wait so long to have it done?!

Every year on the anniversary of my new hip I celebrate. I go out to dinner, dance around the house, go to the spa, and whatever reminds me of my new life now. Every day is a celebration because I can walk, bike ride, or move in any other way pain-free!

My pictures are out to dinner on my one-year anniversary of my hip replacement and me out biking, which is one of my favorite (now pain-free) exercises.
