Dr. Gausden and her team, including Hayden and Samantha, are outstanding. Dr. Gausden is a brilliant surgeon and is also personable, patient and kind. She performed anterior total hip replacement on my left hip. After years of pain and constant limping I was anxious to return to my normally active lifestyle. From the first visit, Dr. Gausden and her team were responsive, kind, and patient in answering all of my questions and explained everything in detail. They took the time to listen to my concerns and put my nervous mind at ease. The entire process was seamless from the pre-surgical visit at HSS to the day of surgery thanks the kindness of the HSS nurses and PAs. I would also note the skill of the anesthesiologist, Dr. Stephanie Cheng, as I had no lingering effects. I went home the same day, walking. My recovery has been fast. At 4 weeks out (photo provided) I walked over 5 miles with no pain, simply amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Gausden and her team. I feel so lucky and I am grateful to have received their care.
