On July 6th, 2022, I received a patella reconstruction using my own hamstring. This has to be the biggest test of if I loved my sport or not. People say it gets better as time goes on and as much as I didn’t wanna hear that, it does. Through all the ups and downs, I am now not only playing soccer again but better than I was before. If there was one thing I could tell my past self a year ago it would have been that everything works in the end.
