I only have the highest praise regarding my experience with Dr. McLawhorn & HSS. Dr. McLawhorn came highly recommended by a previous patient. After researching many doctors for over 2 months, I finally called his office for an appointment. I was also at the point that it had become very difficult for me to walk. I would dream at night of walking without pain!

After the x-rays and appointment with Dr. McLawhorn at the end of January 2022, it was clear that I needed hip replacement. My surgery was scheduled for May 13th, and needless to say, I was quite nervous.

When I look back, it wasn't as difficult as I expected, and pain was minimal. Anyone who is considering this surgery should not put it off (as I did). The recuperation was easier than expected. Again, I highly recommend Dr. McLawhorn and HSS.
