My experience at HSS was excellent, from my surgeon, Dr. Carli, to his office staff, the hospital staff, the anesthesiology team and the nurses! Prior to surgery, I could hardly walk and was nervous and anxious about the surgery and recovery. I asked so many questions, but was never made to feel like I was asking too much. I always received a prompt, pleasant and thorough response. Within 24 hours of my surgery, I was back home and walking with no pain. My sons were amazed as they waited to see me get out of the car that I got out easily and walked up our few steps into the house. I'm scheduled for the other hip in six months or so and am looking forward to long walks on the beach and boardwalk! Dr. Carli is an excellent surgeon, competent, caring and also quite funny! I would recommend him and his team in a heartbeat!
