Four months and 19 days after I woke up in recovery, I was skiing. I hadn’t skied in several years. By the time I saw Dr. Jerabek, I had to lift my leg up by hand in order to get in the car. Post-surgery I had minimal pain. I walked within hours of leaving the recovery room, and I was in great shape after 3-4 weeks. Amazing!

September 29, 2025:

Went for a hike with a friend and her dog. Next thing I know, I’m on the blue summit trail to the top of Mount Equinox in Manchester, Vermont. I made it up and down! I know it’s not Everest, but 16-months after my second hip replacement, I had no trouble. My hips were the only thing that didn’t hurt the next day. Thanks Dr. Jerabek.
