Early in life I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. At the time I was young and didn’t have a lot of pain. As I got older my hip was becoming noticeable shorter. Later in my mid 30s, pain started, and although bearable, it was very uncomfortable. The pain started to get stronger, and I knew I’d need surgery. After visiting 2 different doctors from two different hospitals, I was recommended by a family member to look into HSS. That’s where I found Dr. Jerabek. He made me feel comfortable and confident in the process, answered all my questions, and gave me the confidence I needed to move forward with the surgery. My surgery was scheduled at the main campus of HSS in New York City. I was little nervous until I met the nurses. They truly do an amazing job at making you feel comfortable and not afraid about the surgery. It’s been little over two weeks since I’ve had a total hip replacement surgery and I still can’t believe how seamless they made the process. I’m grateful to have met Dr. Jerabek and had my surgery at HSS.
