After experiencing a concussion while playing ice hockey in an adult league, and then a possible second one a few months later, I contacted Dr. Shetty to ensure I was dealing with my recovery correctly. She and her staff immediately put into action a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach that gave me the comfort that I was on a good path. While daunting at first, I followed the program strictly (and admittedly at times reluctantly). This not only led to a full concussion recovery, but also an improved commitment to my overall health. Dr. Shetty's holistic approach was motivating, and it worked. And I continue to implement a lot of what she required. It was worth the effort.
