As a health care professional, I know that HSS is a premier facility worldwide for joint replacement surgery. I had a total knee replacement there a few years ago with outstanding results. This time, I selected Dr. Jason Blevins not only because of his stellar reputation, but also because of his detailed evaluation/knowledge of the best hip prosthesis for me. My surgery was October 24, 2022. The overnight stay and the staff care were incomparable.

Additionally, my results are exceptional - no walker, crutches required at all; only a cane for a 3 weeks. By week 4, I was performing all of my daily activities, including driving, etc. And, most importantly, I had relatively little pain or discomfort, and required minimal pain medication.

For a relatively young orthopedic surgeon, his experience and judgment are superb, and his manner is professional and caring- a true gentleman. He not only “gets you Back in the Game”, but gives you a chance to win whatever game you play!
