I had a great experience, under the circumstances, getting my Achilles repaired. Dr. Drakos performed my surgery. He is straight to the point and extremely diligent in his explanation of my procedure. As a man who has had multiple surgeries (knees, hand), I was happy that he didn't sugarcoat my procedure and the rehab that ensued so I can get back walking without pain and back to work. Before the operation he was very supportive and confident in fixing me so I can live pain-free. Very important, to me, is the connection between surgeon and patient, especially before surgery. I would like to thank Dr. Drakos and his team in making my surgery successful. I also would like to thank the pre- and post-operative nurses at HSS for their care. They were tremendously attentive to my situation. I would recommend Dr. Drakos for foot or Achilles surgery - no question. Thank you again.
