Thank you HSS for diagnosing me correctly. Thank you Dr. Elizabeth Gausden for replacing my hip successfully. You gave me my life back without pain and with mobility. I was originally diagnosed with spinal stenosis (not unusual for an 81 year old). I had several epidurals, a nerve block and physical therapy. Nothing helped! I was in constant pain and needed to use a walker. I sold my house of 50 years and moved into an independent, senior living facility.

I was recommended to Dr. Gausden. After reading my x-rays and MRI, she properly diagnosed my condition and suggested a hip replacement. Her wonderful staff scheduled my surgery. I was immediately pain free after the surgery. Now, less than 3 months later I am walking without any assistance, not even a cane.

Everyone I had contact with, in the office and hospital, were so caring and competent. I am looking forward to the future and am so grateful to Dr. Gausden. Thank you!
