ACDF Surgery: Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion

This was my first surgery (ACDF C4/5, fusion). Dr. Huang spent a lot of time evaluating my situation, discussing options with me and helping me to determine the best way to proceed. At all times I felt fully informed and confident in the HSS facilities, with the HSS staff and with the expert care I was receiving from Dr. Huang. The surgery went very well, there were no surprises and my recovery is ahead of schedule. In fact, I ran my first race less than 4 months after the procedure. I feel truly fortunate to have had the procedure at a top facility like HSS and to have had the expert care of such a great spine surgeon! I have already referred friends/colleagues to Dr. Huang.
