I came to Dr. McLawhorn to replace my right hip that had been deteriorating for a couple of years. I knew what to expect as I’d had the left replaced in 2018 though by a different surgeon.

I chose Dr. McLawhorn because we seemed to bond right away. I was comfortable with his bedside manner, experience and surgical approach. In short, he was interested in getting me back to the active lifestyle I enjoy but of late have been unable to participate in.

The surgery went without a hitch and I was feeling better immediately. Fortunately, I had little pain or discomfort and was moving quickly. Six weeks hence I’m pain free and slowly returning to my normal activities.

For those hesitant to move forward with a replacement don’t be. Get your life back and I encourage you to seek out Dr. McLawhorn as your surgeon. You won’t regret your decision.
