I came in to see Dr. Jerabek for ongoing hip pain. I met with him and his PA, Ashleigh Clarke, and was impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and possible treatments. There was a true collaboration of what these options were and short and long term ramifications. I chose to go to with a total hip replacement (THR) at the beginning of July. The scheduling was pretty smooth and pre-op went well except for an authorization hiccup.

A wrinkle developed soon after my initial appointment on my opposite leg and knee and found out I was bone on bone.

Again, a consultation with Dr Jerabek and Ashleigh Clarke was collaborative as I was thinking knee before hip. We decided to do the THR and partial knee replacement soon after (2 months later).

My THR went without a hitch and was pleased with all aspects of HSS nursing care to post-op follow up. As soon as I got mobile; I went back in to do my knee and again pleased with the results as previously mentioned. I even saw/had the same anesthesiologist.

I just had a post-op appointment for both (fully mobile) and now getting my wife to get her hip done (THR) in December with Dr. Jerabek.

I have had 4 surgeries at HSS and all surgeons, care and technology are all top notch. I recommended anyone with orthopedic issues to find a doctor for your issue. I feel much better than before and that’s what it’s all about.
