Back in 1992 when in college, a car accident shattered my right ankle. A hospital in Connecticut said they could fix me but I would have a limp and need a cane for life. I sought the help of Dr. Helfet and he reconstructed my ankle to perfection. I am an avid tennis, basketball, and platform tennis player and play tennis and platform tennis competitively in local leagues. In 2013, I actually won the NYAC “A” singles championship and did so again in 2015. The team at HSS is second to none as are the facilities. Dr. Helfet is an exceptional doctor and I think was able to treat me like no other doctor on the planet. My physical standard of living is due to the fantastic job that HSS provided.
