I enjoyed a very active life but suffered from hip pain for 12 years. The pain got progressively worse and I developed a noticeable limp. All the activities I enjoyed became more and more difficult. Dr. Allan Inglis performed a total hip replacement using the anterior approach. In less than three months, I was back on the tennis court playing the best tennis ever, and hiking through Acadia National Park. The best part is I am completely pain-free. Dr. Inglis, his staff, and everyone at HSS was professional, kind and reassuring. I am grateful to Dr. Inglis for giving me back my active lifestyle.
