Audrey Donahue

I was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. But by the time I was 17 years old I could no longer sit, stand, walk, drive, climb stairs, or sleep comfortably without severe back pain, leg pain and numbness. I was ultimately diagnosed with grade 2 spondylolisthesis. I remained active, but continued to be plagued with pain and numbness as my condition worsened. After numerous recommendations by trusted individuals, I visited Dr. Federico Girardi at HSS. After undergoing a lumbar spinal fusion and having the incredible HSS staff take care of me, I am now running, swimming, biking, weightlifting, and living everyday life pain-free. I feel invincible, thanks to HSS!
