I am forever grateful to Dr. Su for performing my hip resurfacing surgery. After running the 2016 NYC marathon in tremendous pain, I first met with another surgeon who highly suggested a complete hip replacement. I was informed that my extremely active lifestyle would change after surgery. I was devastated. Then, I went to Dr. Su for a second opinion and he performed my hip resurfacing in late January 2017. Within ten days post surgery I was in the pool swimming, working out in the gym and on a spin bike. Four months after surgery I took a 350-mile cycling trip through Spain. Now one year after I am completely pain free, have full range of motion and doing all the extreme sports as I was before – barefoot waterskiing, triathlons, century rides, running, etc.… I highly recommend seeing Dr. Su for anyone looking to get back in the game.
My experience with HSS was nothing short of amazing from the pre-op appointments, arrival day of surgery, overnight stay to post surgery follow up. That is the reason why HSS is the best surgical hospital in the United Sates.
