My career for 30 years was that of a Distributor in the Medical Device Field, specifically orthopedic devices. I played a lot of basketball growing up, and at some point, when I was in my 20's, I tore my meniscus and lived with it until my 40's when I had a meniscectomy. 24 years later, there was tremendous instability, swelling, and pain. I decided to see Dr. Alexiades and it was determined that I would do well with a Partial Knee Replacement.The Makoplasty was the procedure utilized and I am 5 months out and had gotten back to my routine in the gym, have been playing golf for 3 months, and am ready to dance at my son's wedding at the end of September. I am completely thrilled with the outcome and the care I received at HSS.
