Having already had one hip replaced in '08 I knew what to expect. I was wrong, while the first hip was successful and the rehab was uneventful, this one was even better. Operated on a Friday @ 5:00 P.M and in my car on Sunday at 2:00. Absolutely no post surgical pain, just some stiffness, off all pain meds on Monday, by that Friday, one week after surgery I walked 2.5 miles. Back to work after 4 weeks. I can't thank Dr. DiFelice and the staff @ HSS enough. It's wonderful to be pain free and to be able to do the things I could not do prior to my surgery.
