I came to Dr. Goolsby with a stress reaction in my tibia that was not healing after several months. This was especially frustrating for me as a multi-time marathon runner and triathlete who previously did not experience health issues. Dr. Goolsby performed a comprehensive evaluation, searching to identify the root cause of the injury rather than just address the symptoms. Dr. Goolsby coordinated my care among various doctors at HSS, championed me to the insurance company after my treatments were denied (and were later approved after tireless work by Dr. Goolsby and her staff), and was always there to respond to my many emails and calls. I am happy to say that I feel back to my normal self and completed the Vineman 70.3 half ironman this summer. Special thanks also to Dr. Goolsby's staff - Jennifer Lister, Martha, Soribel and the others who were always there for me!
