About two years ago, I was hit by a car as I was walking to grab coffee. Thankfully, I survived this very serious accident, but my knee received major trauma, including a torn ACL, PCL and MCL. After 4 surgeries in Virginia, I was better, but still lacked full extension in my knee (causing me to limp when I walked) and I could only bend to 90 degrees. I did not want to give up, so I researched doctors all over the northeast and none gave me any hope for further improvement. I finally found Dr. Warren, who said he thought he could help me.

After surgery with him, I gained another 12 degrees of extension, making my leg almost fully straight ... thereby allowing me to walk almost with no limp at all (maybe soon, none!)! Additionally, I gained another 15 degrees in flexion and, even 3 months after the surgery, am still making progress. I cannot thank Dr. Warren enough for helping me beyond what I thought I could do and for giving me the ability to get back to walking better than I thought I ever could. He has made a big difference in my life and I will always be grateful to him and HSS for their work.
