I received a hip replacement by Dr. Boettner three months ago after suffering for five years with constant hip pain. I am a 52 year old former two sport college athlete and direct a large residential sports camp. I am always active and have played various sports my entire life. I tried every alternative method on the planet and consulted with several orthopedic surgeons. Last summer I was unable to play tennis or basketball and was in constant pain. It was then that I consulted with Dr. Boettner and he methodically went through my options and answered all my questions in a thorough patient manner. I knew immediately this was the doctor who I was going to choose to have my surgery. He and his team were amazing from the start. Always responsive, caring and professional. I was so frightened of surgery never having ever had surgery before and fearful of the outcome. Dr. Boettner reassured me everything would be fine.
