After having pain in my hip which affected all aspects of my life, I researched Hospital for Special Surgery. Considering several surgical approaches, Dr. Danyal Nawabi agreed that I would be a good candidate for the anterior approach. On May 27, 2015, I had a hip replacement. Following Dr. Nawabi’s recommendations for physical rehabilitation and recovery, I now have no pain at all and a “perfect” hip. I swim and walk several times per week and once again enjoy taking care of my grandchildren. I am very thankful to Dr. Nawabi and Hospital for Special Surgery.
