After many accidents and an active lifestyle I could barely walk and was in terrible pain. My rockstar physician Dr. Michael Alexiades informed me I needed a total hip replacement and since my job has me climbing trees as part of the Animal Planet TV series "Treehouse Masters", I looked for a break in the schedule and went in for surgery on July 7, 2014. After 2 days at HSS, my sister brought me out to Fire Island where I did PT and convalesced by the ocean. At 2 weeks post surgery I was on a plane to Nashville, Tennessee and climbing into my next project treehouse.

Since Dr. Alexiades is expert at the anterior surgery approach, I healed well and fast. The care at HSS is beyond compare.
