I came to Dr. DiFelice with knee pain after hearing a "pop" and resulting pain and swelling in my left knee after walking in heels. After an MRI, Dr. DiFelice explained to me that I had suffered a meniscal root tear and because of the sudden change in joint dynamics, a tibial stress fracture. Even though Dr. DiFelice is a surgeon, he decided to see if using crutches and then a cane for several weeks would allow my knee to heal without surgery. Many doctors might rush into arthroscopic surgery, but I am proud to say Dr. DiFelice's course of treatment was a success! I am back to full function and have resumed all of my athletic activities without knee pain! Thank you Dr. DiFelice!
