During my freshman year of high school, a few months into my first season of JV, I hurt my knee badly. My dreams of running a marathon, winning a JV title, and staying in shape seemed all but gone. I visited doctor after doctor and the SEVENTH doctor I saw was Dr. Riley Williams. He proceeded to successfully operate on my knee using an experimental procedure, significantly limiting the chance that I would need a knee replacement. I was initially told that I wouldn't run for a year, but successfully completed a half marathon a few months after surgery. Thanks Dr. Williams.
