When I went to see Dr Michael Maynard at HSS I met the man who changed my life. Walking in, I was apprehensive. He immediately eased my mind and scheduled me for my first hip replacement in Dec 2011. I did fabulous. When I went for my 3 month checkup we discussed doing my other hip. I was so happy with the first hip result I scheduled my second hip for June 2011.
Dr Maynard gave me back more than mobility. I was able to walk on the beach, do stairs, put on my own sock and so much more. I feel fantastic and urge everyone to forge ahead and make the call to HSS. Everyone gets an angel in life and I have 2, Dr Michael Maynard and Hospital for Special Surgery.
