Patient Story of: Ruth Novoa

I had a lot of hip pain starting in early 2010, which progressively got worse and I eventually needed a total hip replacement. It didn't start that way - oddly enough, I had already been scheduled to have the right hip replaced by Dr. Nestor (he was my third opinion and I knew immediately that he was the one!) and then a week before the surgery, I experienced extreme pain in my left hip. I call Dr. Nestor's office and was informed that I was actually a candidate for bilateral hip replacement. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Nestor and his team and said "Let's go for it." I am feeling much, much better now and finally back on my bicycle (which is my favorite thing to do, I used to take 4-5 spinning classes a week before my hip pain, and love to ride outdoors, doing 16-20 miles a day in the morning before going to work!). I am very grateful for the team of doctors who worked with me to GET ME BACK IN THE GAME! THANK YOU!
