I was at the point where I could not stand up for more than 5 minutes without extreme pain in my hip and down my right leg. I had the surgery in April 2014 and 1 month later, I was walking without a limp. After 3 months of spinning on my indoor spinning bike, I was back on the road riding my bicycle and rode over 45,000 miles since the surgery. I rode 9,500 miles in 2020 and am up to 5,500 miles so far in 2021. 99% of the time I forgot that I had the operation. I'm happy knowing that I will have a pain-free life thanks to HSS and Dr. Alexiades.
