About Dr. Siegel
Dr. Caroline Siegel specializes in the care of patients with various rheumatic conditions including systemic lupus erythematosus, antiphospholipid syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren's syndrome, and overlapping and undifferentiated connective tissue disease. She has a particular interest in pregnancy and other reproductive health issues that affect rheumatology patients, and regularly collaborates with obstetrician/gynecologists and other women's health specialists at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Siegel also enjoys caring for young adults with childhood-onset rheumatic diseases and works closely with pediatric rheumatology colleagues to transition their care.
After graduating from Princeton University, Dr. Siegel received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College with Honors in Service. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA and her fellowship in rheumatology at Hospital for Special Surgery. During her rheumatology fellowship, Dr. Siegel earned a master's degree in Clinical and Translational Investigation from Weill Cornell Medicine. She then completed an additional fellowship focused on reproductive health in rheumatology at Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medicine.
Dr. Siegel conducts multidisciplinary clinical research and quality improvement initiatives with the goal of optimizing the sexual and reproductive health of individuals with systemic rheumatic diseases.
