About Dr. Save
Dr. Ameya Save is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Save treats injuries and conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. He has additional expertise in treatment of brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injuries. Dr. Save is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to help patients get back to the activities that matter most to them.
Dr. Save received his medical education at the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Yale- New Haven Hospital, followed by a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at HSS. Dr. Save has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and has presented his work at regional, national, and international conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).
