About Dr. Jerabek
Seth A. Jerabek, MD is an Orthopedic Surgeon at HSS. He joined the HSS faculty in 2012 within the division of Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement specializing in robotic and computer-assisted hip and knee replacement.
He earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry with honors from the University of Wisconsin. He then went onto the University of Michigan Medical School graduating magna cum laude. He completed his orthopedic residency at the Harvard Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program in 2010. Prior to joining the HSS faculty, he completed two fellowships, the first in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at HSS and the second in Sports Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital working with several professional sports teams. This background in both joint replacement and sports medicine sparked his interest in making joint replacement feel more natural and perform at a higher level.
He has found that enabling technologies such as robotics and computer navigation aid in the accuracy, precision, and performance of joint replacement. Using these technologies, Dr. Jerabek can take a patient-specific approach when planning and executing hip and knee replacements. In addition to being an advanced user of technology, Dr. Jerabek has helped develop several of the advanced technologies used today for joint replacement. He has also presented nationally and internationally and has published numerous papers on the topic.
