MSG—June 15, 2018

MSG hosted HSS primary care sports medicine physician Ryan J. Lingor, MD, live on-air at the Invesco Tennis Series to discuss common injuries and treatment options for tennis players.

"Fortunately with tennis, it's a lifelong sport, and so I see all kinds of athletes from the recreational weekend warrior, high school players, up to the professional athletes themselves," said Dr. Lingor.

Dr. Lingor explained that common injuries include tennis elbow and shoulder injuries.

"Depending on the injury, a lot of things can be done with physical therapy to help look at mechanics and how people are working with their serve or with their returns," Dr. Lingor noted.

This aired during the June 15, 2018 broadcast.
