Everyday Health has created a video series featuring HSS physical therapist Cara Ann Senicola, PT, a certified yoga instructor, on the best yoga poses for managing ankylosing spondylitis.
"Remember there is no prescription for yoga for AS. AS effects everyone quite differently," said Senicola.
In the video series, Senicola showed different poses to promote diaphragmatic breathing, as well as poses to stretch the spine that may get stiff with ankylosing spondylitis.
