Carson Smith to have season-ending surgery

The Boston Globe—June 12, 2018

The Boston Globe reported that Boston Red Sox’ Carson Smith suffered a shoulder injury and will undergo surgery by HSS sports medicine surgeon David W. Altchek, MD.

According to the article, Smith’s shoulder partially dislocated after he threw his glove.
