HSS Rehabilitation Internship Program

Please be aware that to be extra cautious with regard to the COVID-19 coronavirus, HSS has suspended all hospital volunteer work and internships.

HSS Rehabilitation provides a number of internship opportunities for individuals interested in the fields of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Performance/Wellness and Prosthetics/Orthotics. Internships are generally unpaid, full time and 10 weeks in length.

This internship program is primarily designed for individuals with minimal clinical experience. Students accepted for this internship will participate in projects and will have clinical observations in multiple areas of rehabilitation, prosthetics and orthotics, and performance and wellness. Internship projects will provide exposure to clinical care, research, education and/or administration functions of a clinical department. Interns will be responsible for presenting project results to the supervising team.
