Rosalie LaLima Kaecker

I, Rosalie LaLima Kaecker, had a hip and two knee replacements in 2019, 2023 and 2024. I was an avid walker and traveler until hip and knee pain made it difficult to walk even one block. During my consultation with Dr. Alexander McLawhorn, I was told that I had to be committed to my surgery and recuperation. I had to be “maniacal” about doing the exercises after surgery. I diligently followed his directives and all my hard work paid off. I was Back in the Game! I am now able to walk on the beach every morning with my husband. I feel so strong and independent because of my new knees and hip. I look forward to taking walking tours throughout Europe and hopefully visit the hilly town in Sicily where I was born. I want to thank Dr. McLawhorn’s office staff as well as the HSS doctors, nurses and staff for making my stay safe and comfortable. I also want to thank and bless the amazing and brilliant surgeon, Dr. McLawhorn, for giving me back my active life.
