In 2009 I was seriously injured in an automobile accident which led to bone-on-bone arthritis in my right hip and severe pain. It also affected my ability to walk and I was forced to use a cane 24/7. My left knee was also affected and a valgus knee deformity formed. Due to pain and limited mobility my world became so small. After a recommendation from one of my doctors, I chose Dr. William Long to perform my total hip replacement surgery in February 2022 & my total knee replacement surgery in August 2022. I was impressed with hospital staff during both stays and I would 100% recommend HSS & Dr. Long to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. The care was exceptional. My knee is now straight, my severe hip pain is gone and I get stronger every day as I rehab at physical therapy.
