After many years of chronic back pain and nerve discomfort in my legs and many attempts at a remedy, I was introduced to Dr. Todd Albert and his fabulous Team in late July of 2019. He was confident he had a solution for me: a TLIF and additionally a laminotomy and disc decompression in other areas. Within 9 days I was in the operating room and on the road to recovery. Dr. Albert explained the procedure clearly and was very comforting to me and my family in the aftermath. The care I received in my 5 days at HSS was superb.

My recovery during the 13 weeks subsequent has been slow and steady. Dr. Albert and his team were extremely responsive and caring during this period. John Castro , a PT at HSS Westchester, has aided immeasurably. I am now feeling better and fully functioning at work and in life!! I continue to have a ways to go but I will always be grateful for the expert care and responsiveness and empathy that I experienced.
