Mohammad Usama

My name is Mohammad and this is my story.

I was born with a club foot, dislocated hip and bilateral knee contractions. My pediatric doctor recommended my parents to go to Hospital for Special Surgery or another facility in New York. My parents chose to take me to HSS and to this day, did not regret that choice one bit. I was seen by Dr. Green and he had x-rays and MRIs taken of me. The result of the tests indicated that I would have to undergo multiple surgeries. Dr. Green performed the 6-hour-long intense surgery on my club foot. After about six months, Dr. Green carried out the surgery for my dislocated hip that I had upon birth.

Dr. Green was with my parents and I all along the way. He had full belief in that the operations would go well. Thank you for your hard work. I would also like to thank the entire staff at HSS, who consoled my parents and assisted in my multiple surgeries. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be who I am today.
