My miracle doctor- Dr. Bryan Kelly

Words cannot express how truly thankful I am for everything that Dr. Kelly has done for me. He has given me my life back.

Several years ago I suffered a life changing and potentially career ending injury. I tore my gluteus medius, an injury typically only seen in athletes. This was very usual for someone in their early 60's.

I was having increasingly more difficulty standing and walking, a fundamental requirement for a hair stylist. I was concerned I would have to give up my job and adopt a more sedentary lifestyle.

My doctor recommended I see Dr. Bryan Kelly at HSS. Dr. Kelly ameliorated my fears and anxiety and gave me hope for recovery.

A short time later, Dr. Kelly performed surgery and I was on the road to recovery. I underwent physical therapy for a year, learning how to walk again and regaining my strength and endurance.

At this time I've made a full recovery. I'm back at work full-time and enjoying all the things I had put on hold.

I owe it all to Dr. Kelly, Hospital for Special Surgery and Chris Kimball, my physical therapist at All-Star Physical Therapy. In addition I would like to thank Gena Soto, Dr. Kelly's office manager, for being so helpful and supportive through this experience.
