Ankle Distraction Arthroplasty: Joint Restoration for Ankle Arthritis

On June 3, 2014, I was hit by a car responding to a fire call and had a tib/fib compound fracture to my right ankle. After many surgeries and not much relief I was told there was nothing else they could do. Then I found Dr. Fragomen and his team. After getting the device put on March 2015 and removed June 2015 it was a waiting game.

Dr. Fragomen is an amazing Doctor and gave me such hope. Today after 2 1/2 years and many surgeries I was able to return back to what I love. Fighting fires with my fellow volunteers. I would have never believed this day was possible but Dr. Fragomen made this possible and continues to help me with my injury. Thank you for all you do!!!
